Data deletion and requests

How to have your data removed from SponsorshipBrain, or to ask what we hold. Last updated 10 October 2026.

Disconnect a social account

If you connected a social media account so your agency could read its audience figures, you can remove that access at any time:

  1. Ask your agency contact to disconnect the account in the platform, or
  2. Remove SponsorshipBrain yourself in the platform's own settings: on Facebook and Instagram this is under Settings → Apps and websites or Business integrations; on other platforms, the connected apps page.

Either way, our access token is deleted immediately and nothing further is read from the account.

Ask for your data to be deleted

Email privacy@sponsorshipbrain.app (placeholder address, to be confirmed) from the email address your agency holds for you, with the subject line Data deletion request, and tell us:

We will confirm receipt within 5 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We delete your roster record, contact details, photo, social media audience figures and access tokens. Entries in the audit log are retained in anonymised form, because they record the agency's actions rather than your content. If you have a current representation agreement, the agency may need to keep the minimum data required to fulfil it, and will tell you what that is.

Ask what we hold

Send the same details with the subject line Data access request and we will send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you within 30 days.

Facebook and Instagram users

This page is the data deletion instructions URL registered with Meta for the SponsorshipBrain app. If you reached it from your Facebook or Instagram settings, following the steps above will remove all data we received from your account.
